Falconets will be without star striker Janet ‘Semenya’ Akekoromowei for Saturday’s crucial U20 Women’s World Cup return leg in Senegal due to injury.
‘Semenya’ suffered a horrific ankle dislocation in the first half of the first leg in Abeokuta, which Nigeria narrowly won by the odd goal.
Officials said the highly-rated striker will not recover in time for the second leg in Dakar.
The overall winners of this tie will advance to the final Playoffs for the 2026 U20 Women’s World Cup to be hosted by Poland.
