Nigeria’s Falconets early this morning crashed out of the U20 FIFA Women’s World Cup in the Round of 16 after they fell 2-1 to Japan.
Olushola Shobowale scored a stoppage time consolation goal for the Falconets.
Japan went on front after 33 minutes, before they doubled their advantage on 65 minutes.
The Falconets held their own against one of the tournament favourites before the Asians broke the deadlock in Bogota.
