Paul Onuachu is back firing goals at new Turkish club Trabzonspor after he failed to do so in the Premier League with Southampton and a top expert has backed him to now score at least 20 goals.
Onuachu has thus far scored two goals and provided an assist in as many matches in Turkey.
Turkish football expert Fuat Capa has told Het Belang van Limburg the giant striker will hit double figures with Trabzonspor this season on loan from Southampton.
“You notice that he has hardly played football since January. He can’t handle playing for 90 minutes yet,” he began.
“But he has got off to a perfect start.
“I saw both his matches. He immediately scored his first goal on his debut at home against Besiktas. He scored again against Hatayspor and also provided an assist.
“I see him scoring 20 goals this season.”
The expert added: “He fits well in the Turkish league.“We all know that he is a good striker who can record impressive numbers. I dare not predict that he will score 50 goals. But I can see him scoring 20 times.
“Onuachu fits well in the Turkish league, which, like the Belgian competition, is quite physical. The pace is a little slower, but it is very combative.”
