Everton have announced Alex Iwobi is now in contention for a place in the first-team after he has recovered from a hamstring injury, which kept him out of the team’s first two games of the new season.
Manager Carlo Ancelotti said Iwobi has recovered fully from a knock and will now be considered for action at home against Newly-promoted West Bromwich Albion Saturday afternoon.
Iwobi’s future at Goodison Park is still up in the air after Everton massive buying spree on the transfer market this summer.
Reports have suggested the player who cost ‘The Toffees’ 40 million pounds last summer will be offloaded soon to balance the books.
He only managed a goal in 25 appearances last season.
