Nigeria most capped player and first to reach 100 caps Vincent Enyeama will begin training with French Ligue 1 side Dijon FCO Friday in his quest to sign a contract.
Enyeama has been out of action for two years now following a long-term knee injury, he has overcome the injury and ready to go again.
The 36-year-old goalkeeper, who holds a record 101 full international caps, will be at the club’s training to check his readiness from Friday July, 26th to Wednesday July 31st when a decision will be made on him.
Enyeama has previously featured for Ibom Stars, Enyimba, Iwuanyanwu Nationale (now Heartland FC), Bnei Yehuda, Hapoel Tel Avi, Maccabi Haifa (both in Israel) and Lille (France).
He featured at five AFCONs for Nigeria, in 2004, 2006, 2008, 2010 and 2013 when he won the trophy.
Enyeama played at three FIFA World Cups, in 2002, 2010 and 2014.
He quit the Super Eagles in 2015 after a major falling out with the then coach Sunday Oliseh.
