Ekong transfer crashes after failed medical

Emmanuel Ekong’s transfer to Croatian club Hadjuk Split has fallen through after a failed medical.

Today, the website 24sata reported that the transfer is off after he failed a routine medical.

Ekong was to have moved away from Swedish club Malmo on loan with an option for a permanent transfer.

He was not involved in yesterday’s league game against Kalmar with club officials saying he is close to a new club.
