Egyptian left back Mahoud Gamal Mostafa and Turkey returnee striker Liman Baba will boost Wikki Tourists ahead of the second round of the NPFL, according to the agent who brokered their transfer.
FIFA intermediary Philip Dosu, former Super Eagles goalkeeper Dosu Joseph’s younger brother, brokered the transfer deals and he told ScoreNigeria they will bring Value to Wikki.
The Bauchi club will make history by becoming the first Nigerian club to sign an Egyptian signed from Egyptian side Egypt Insurance, on loan from Wadi Degla FC in the Nigerian Professional Football League.
The 24-year old left back has thus become the first ever player from the Arab Nation to play in the NPFL.
“Mostafa arrived in the country on Thursday and was well received in Bauchi by the club officials,” Dosu informed.
“This is the first time an NPFL club would attract an Egyptian and Arab player and the club chairman is very delighted to have him on board.
“Mostafa is enthusiastic to play in the NPFL and I’m confident he will give a very good account of himself.
“It’s great to be the first ever agent to bring an Egyptian and Arab to play in Nigeria and I hope a lot more will come on board.”
Big striker Liman Baba also put pen on paper earlier this week for a fresh start in Nigeria.
