Sadiq Umar’s transfer to La Liga club Real Sociedad is now a done deal.
According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Real Sociedad will pay fellow La Liga club UD Almeria around 20 Million Euros for the Super Eagles striker.
The 25-year-old striker, who has so far netted twice this season, will undergo a medical and should sign his contract tomorrow (Wednesday).
He is a direct replacement for Sweden star Alexander Isak, who has signed for Newcastle United for about 70 Million Euros.
He was close to joining another La Liga club Villarreal CF before the proposed move collapsed thus allowing Real Sociedad to step in.
Sadiq has been UD Almeria leading scorer in the last two seasons and his goals last term saw them regain their place in the Spanish top league.
