The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) have announced that Torino defender Ola Aina will miss Saturday’s friendly against Brazil on account of a domestic accident.
After missing out on last year’s World Cup in Russia, the former Chelsea fullback worked his way back to the Super Eagles first team at the recent AFCON in Egypt.
Aina will now be the third player to withdraw from the friendly against the five-time world champions in Singapore.
CD Leganes defender Kenneth Omeruo and Bordeaux winger Samuel Kalu have both pulled out of the game due to injury.
They have been replaced by Tyronne Ebuehi (Benfica) and Viv Solomon-Otabor (CSKA Sofia).
In the meantime, a batch of the squad for the Brazil clash led by coach Gernot Rohr is due to arrive Singapore later Thursday after their departure from Paris.
Ramon Azeez (Granada CF), William Ekong (Udinese), Wilfred Ndidi (Leicester City), Samuel Chukwueze (Villarreal), Chidozie Awaziem (Leganes), Alex Iwobi (Everton), Victor Osimhen and Emmanuel Dennis (Club Brugge) were on the 16-hour flight from Paris.
