Daryl Dike has admitted he was “frustrated” even after he scored for Orlando City to draw 3-3 at Minnesota United.
Orlando salvaged a point at Minnesota with a last-gasp equaliser.
Before then, Dike marked his first start back in the MLS with the opening goal after 28 minutes, when he fired home from a tight angle.
Orlando subsequently doubled their lead only for the home team to fight back and draw level before they even went ahead at 3-2.
Dike spoke of his frustration after the match.
“Frustrating match, I think we worked really hard from minute one. It’s never easy to go anywhere away.” he said.
“We put ourselves in a good position, and unfortunately, collectively, we made a few mistakes that they capitalised on. Frustrating.
“I think at the beginning, you take a point, but knowing how the game played out, and the quality – the standard – that we have for ourselves, it’s a frustrating one.”
