Cyriel Dessers has said he is excited to play in Serie A, one of the top leagues in the world.
Dessers has signed for newly promoted US Cremonese from Genk.

In a video presentation by his new club, Dessers likened himself to a child on Christmas eve, who is in front of the Christmas tree dreaming of all the presents he will unwrap the following morning.

Dessers started the season in Belgium brightly to score two goals for Genk before his departure.

And that Genk will still have a place in his heart.
