West Bromwich Albion striker Daryl Dike has vowed he will again bounce back to top reckoning after he raptured his Achilles Tendon for the second time in a year and as such will miss most the year.
His English Championship club confirmed the major injury.
The player himself posted his disappointment on social media.
“No matter how many times I get knocked down, I will keep getting back up,” he resolved in his post on X
“I’ve done it before and will do it again.”
He thanked his club and supporters for standing behind him in many trying times.
The USA international striker is also eligible to feature for the Super Eagles, like his older brother Bright Dike and sister Courtney Dike did.
