Danjuma off to flying start with new club Villarreal

Lagos-born Arnaut Danjuma has expressed his delight after he grabbed his first goal for Spanish La Liga side Villarreal.

The highly pleased Nigerian-Dutch forward has thus promised more goals.

“First of many Insha Allah,” he wrote on his Instagram.

The new signing came off the bench to help Villarreal secure a hard-fought draw at champions Atletico Madrid.

Danjuma, a 63rd minute substitute for Pervis Estupinan, put the visiting team ahead in the 74th minute in the game that ended 2-2.
