Iheanacho, 29, signed as a free agent from Spanish club Sevilla in September 2025 with Celtic now having the option to extend this by a further year.
This past season, he scored nine goals and made an assist in 23 appearances for Celtic.
“It’s a proud moment for Celtic,” Iheanacho said after the cup final heroics.
“It’s crazy, I have been here for only 10 months and I have won two trophies.
“I am happy here, so too my family, I hope by the start of next season I am still a Celtic player, but it would be for the club to decide this.”
