Chidera Ejuke is only waiting for his entry visa to Germany as a court case brought up by his Russian club CSKA Moscow cannot stop his loan transfer to Bundesliga side Hertha Berlin.
FIFA have given foreign players in Russia to suspend their contract until the invasion of Ukraine has been resolved.
CSKA Moscow have announced they will appeal against this decision.
Ejuke has therefore opted to play on loan in Germany in the new season as a result.
Bild has now reported that deal is very much on course and the Super Eagles winger will soon join Hertha Berlin in time for their second pre-season training camp.
