Antonio Conte has reeled out conditions that would allow him to take over crumbling Premier League giants Manchester United.
Things have been shaky at Manchester United for a long time, and after the 4-1 loss to Como in the Champions League, things started to crack once again.
As usual, speculations are rife about Michael Carrick’s future.
One of the main candidates to take over from Carrick should he be fired, has been reported to be Antonio Conte.
Now the Italian newspaper La Repubblica reported that the club have been in contact with the 57-year-old, who has made a bunch of demands if the job is his.
Among other things, he wants full control over decisions made in the transfer market, the power to choose which players to bring in, a large influence on the overall squad building, the ability to identify players who suit his tactics, as well as the freedom to choose his own staff.
Conte has enjoyed a long coaching career in Italy and England.
He has won Serie A with both Juventus and Inter as well as the Premier League and FA Cup with Chelsea. He was last in charge of Tottenham in the Premier League.
He is currently without a job after he left Napoli in the summer
