Chukwueze, whose poor penalty kick in a shootout loss by the Super Eagles against hosts Morocco at the AFCON enraged the fans, was the darling of his London club when he came off the bench in the 59th minute to draw Fulham level in the 72nd minute.
A stunning pass over the top picked out the run of Chukwueze, he coolly opened his body to place one in the far corner.
It was his third Premier League goal as he also has as many assists.
Fulham thus climbed to seventh on the table with 34 points from 23 matches.
