Samuel Chukwueze has not wasted time to open his goals account in Spain after he scored Villarreal’s fourth goal in a 4-4 draw with promoted Granada on the opening day of the season.
Super Eagles winger Chukwueze hit target off a brilliant solo run on 73 minutes for home team Villarreal to lead 4-3, but Granada drew level eight minutes later to earn a valuable point on the road.
He played the entire game.
Former Flying Eagles captain Ramon Azeez was introduced to the contest by Granada.
Last season, Chukwueze, 20, netted five goals in 26 league appearances.
