Samuel Chukwueze was on target tonight for Villarreal to advance to the knockout rounds of the UEFA Europa Conference League on the back of a 2-2 draw with visiting Hapoel Be’er Sheva.
Chukwueze drew the home team level in the 57th minute after the Israelis had gone ahead.
It was his second goal of the competition.
Villarreal under a new coach now have 13 points from five matches to win Group C with a game to spare.
Their final group game will be at second-placed Lech Poznan of Poland next Thursday.
