Samuel Chukwueze has joined the Super Eagles camp in Uyo to dispel fears injury will keep him out of 2026 World Cup qualifiers against South Africa and Benin.
The winger has been left out by AC Milan from a friendly against fellow Serie A club AS Roma to allow him recover from a muscle problem.
Injury has already forced Victor Osimhen out of the World Cup qualifiers, while Bayer Leverkusen winger Nathan Tella has asked to be left out.
Both players have since been replaced.
The team began training in Uyo in the evening Saturday.
