Samuel Chukwueze starting ahead of the impressive Ademola Lookman is likely to be one of the changes by coach Eric Chelle in today’s final 2025 AFCON Group C match against Uganda.
Both forwards have been playing “in the hole” for the Super Eagles in Morocco.
They both started against Tanzania in the opening game, before Ademola Lookman got the nod against Tunisia.
Ademola Lookman has been one of the tournament’s standout stars of this AFCON with two goals and two assists.
However, he is now in danger of missing out of the Round of 16 clash after he was booked against Tanzania.
Coach Eric Chelle is likely not to risk the Atalanta star against Uganda today as a result and he will then be fresh for the knockout match in the New Year.
