Ajax defender Calvin Bassey is now closer to a transfer to Premier League club Fulham after both clubs reached an agreement on his transfer fee.
Bassey, 23, has been linked with Premier League clubs Brighton and Fulham and it has now emerged that London club Fulham have won the chase.
Ajax and Fulham have agreed a transfer fee of 21 Million Euros and the Dutch club will also enjoy a percentage on a subsequent sale of the player.
The Super Eagles defender will now agree personal terms and undergo a routine medical to complete the transfer to Fulham.
Ajax made him their most expensive defender ever when they bought him from Scottish giants Rangers last summer, but the fans in Holland were not completely convinced about him.
