CAF have approved a request by the Ghana Football Association (GFA) to allow spectators fill up the 40,000-capacity Baba Yara Stadium in Kumasi for tomorrow night’s 2022 World Cup playoffs against the Super Eagles.
The Baba Yara Stadium will stage the World Cup playoffs after the original venue of the Cape Coast Stadium was rejected.
The new venue is known to guarantee the home team, the Black Stars, total support.
The return leg at the MKO Abiola National Stadium in Nigeria’s capital city of Abuja will allow 30,000 spectators.
In the meantime, local fans have complained that match ticket prices for the Kumasi clash are too expensive.
The cheapest ticket is about 500 Naira.
