Breakthrough in Dessers transfer to Greece

Cyriel Dessers has moved closer to sealing a switch to AEK Athens after the Greek club reportedly found a formula in their agreement with Rangers.

The transfer is expected to be concluded in the next few days.

The 30-year-old striker has already agreed personal terms with AEK, happy with the duration of the contract and financials.

The deal stalled because of the difference between what Rangers asked for the player and what the Greeks were ready to pay for well-traveled striker.
