Veteran coach Ladan Bosso is set to return as Flying Eagles coach amid allegations that bribes have already been paid for call-ups and squad places.
The NFF are expected to announce the coach for the country’s U20s next week.
Bosso was first in charge of the Flying Eagles for the 2007 U20 World Cup in Canada, where Nigeria reached the quarterfinals.
However, last year the team crashed out in the sub-regional U20 AFCON qualifiers in Benin Republic.
Bosso, who is president of the coaches association and so has a vote in the NFF Elections later this year, has widely been linked with a return to the Flying Eagles.
Allegations are now rife that already an U20 team have been training secretly in Ilorin even before the NFF have announced a new coach of the team.
Nigeria will feature in the sub-regional qualifiers for the U20 AFCON in Niger Republic from May 9.
