Victor Boniface has made a good start at new Belgian club Union St.Gilloise, but the striker himself revealed he could have moved to at least two other clubs in Belgium much earlier.
He has already scored three goals and provided two assists in eight games for Union SG thus far, but he could well have been playing elsewhere.
“Two years ago I would have signed with Club Brugge. But at that time I suffered a serious injury,” Boniface told La Dernière Heure.
He sidelined him for a year with a meniscus injury. But there were still interested parties besides Union this summer.
