Victor Boniface scored two match winners within days and the coach of Belgian club Union St.Gilloise has only high praise for his new signing.
On Thursday night, Boniface snatched a late winner against visiting Malmo in the UEFA Europa League.
The big striker then followed that up with the winning goal at Eupen in the Belgian league for Union to win 2-1.
“He has added a lot to our team,” Union coach Karel Geraerts said of the striker he signed from Norwegian club Bodo/Glimt last month.
“It is normal that you need some time to adapt but he showed all his qualities (vs Malmo).
“He is physically strong and good in the combination.
“He should be happy with his performance and his goal.”
