Turkish Super Lig champions Besiktas and bitter city rivals Fenerbahce have stepped up in their bid to sign Henry Onyekuru.
According to reports in Turkey, Besiktas coach Sergen Yalcin is interested in having the Nigeria forward in his team for the season, the club management will meet Onyekuru, his agent and AS Monaco soon.
Fenerbahce, on the other hand, are currently on Onyekuru’s case as the coach has told the management he wants a left-sided forward and that fits the profile of Onyekuru.
Last season, Onyekuru played in his third loan stint at another Turkish club, Galatasaray.
