Belgian club Charleroi have taken up the buy option on Valentine Ozornwafor even though he has attracted interest from Major Soccer League (MLC) as well as Dutch club Vitesse Arnhem.
‘The Zebras’ will therefore pay Galatasaray 100,000 Euros as transfer fee.
After a slow start, the 23-year-old central defender did well at Charleroi last season on loan from Turkish giants Galatasaray.
However, he still may not be in the plans of Galatasaray, and so a return to Belgium amid interest in the MLS and Holland.
Sources close to the former Flying Eagles star suggest it is paramount he stayed put in a good league like that of Belgium so as to boost his Super Eagles chances.
