Bayer Leverkusen have cleared a slight confusion over the duration of the contract of Victor Boniface.
Various reports had suggested that the Super Eagles striker’s contract at the German Bundesliga club will be up in 2028.
However, Leverkusen official Kolner Stadt-Anzeiger has now confirmed that the player has a valid contract with the club until June 2029.
The German club are open to another loan for the 25-year-old forward or a permanent transfer as he does not have an immediate future with them.
