Folarin Balogun is now the leading goals scorer in the French top-flight league after he scored a hat-trick to help Reims defeat FC Lorient 4-2 Wednesday night.
The Arsenal loanee converted a spot kick in the 44th minute to help his team reduce the deficit to 2-1.
He then gave his team the lead at 3-2 for the first time in the 61st minute.
He sealed the victory 4-2 three minutes later.
He has now scored 14 goals in 20 game as the leading scorer in the league ahead of Kylie Mbappe (PSG) with 13 goals, Neymar (PSG) with 12 goals and OGC Nice new signing Terem Moffi, who scored 12 goals in the colours of FC Lorient.
The striker was born in the USA to Nigerian parents.
He is an England youth international and has previously played for Middlesbrough.
