A whole week after their departure from Abidjan, bags belonging to Super Eagles stars, coach Jose Peseiro and even the NFF president are still behind in the Ivorian city, officials told SCORENigeria
“This is simply incompetence,” a source told SCORENigeria
The Super Eagles and officials were crammed into a small plane to return to Abuja from the AFCON a week ago.
That meant all the bags of the players and officials could not make it on the same flight, which incidentally was delayed for many hours because the airline demanded for payment for the service from the NFF.
One of the affected officials lamented: “We don’t even know when we will have our bags.
“The whole thing could have been better arranged.
“This is very pathetic.”
Peseiro, for one, was almost uncontrollable when he could not come along to Nigeria with his bags.
