Taiwo Awoniyi tonight fired his 10th goal of the season even though Union Berlin fell 3-1 at Feyenoord in continuation of the UEFA Europa Conference League.
Awoniyi pulled a goal back for Union Berlin in the 35th minute after home team Feyenoord raced to a two-goal lead.
It was his first goal in the group phase of the competition.
Fellow Super Eagles striker Cyriel Dessers was a late sub for Feyenoord.
The loss in Holland dropped Union Berlin to bottom of the group with three points from as many matches.
Feyenoord top the standings with seven points.
