Union Berlin striker Taiwo Awoniyi, South Africa-based defender Olisa Ndah as well as Enyimba goalkeeper John Noble have joined the Super Eagles training camp in Abuja ahead of the AFCON.
Awoniyi made his Eagles debut against Central African Republic in October in Lagos, while central defender Ndah is uncapped but has been on fine form at top South African club Orlando Pirates.
The camp opened Wednesday and officials said they expect more of the call-ups before the weekend.
The Eagles will train at the refurbished MKO Abiola National Stadium in Abuja till January 5, when they will fly out to Cameroon.
They are expected to play a test game against top Cameroonian club Cotosport in Garoua, where they will play all three group games.
Their opening Group D match will be on January 11 against seven-time champions Egypt.
Sudan and Guinea Bissau are the other teams in their group.
