Taiwo Awoniyi has been listed on a 34-man squad for Liverpool pre-season training camp, which begins Monday.
The training camp is in Salzburg, Austria.
Awoniyi was recently granted a work permit in the UK and so he is now available for selection by Liverpool.
He has said he wishes a permanent transfer after being shipped out on loan severally.
The striker, who last season played on loan with German Bundesliga side Union Berlin, has been linked with a transfer to several top European clubs including Anderlecht.
