Super Eagles defender Chidozie Awaziem will play again in the Turkish Super Lig after he completed his transfer to Konyaspor.
Awaziem has signed a two-year deal with option for an additional year to be triggered by either the club or the player.
The defender wanted out at FC Nantes after he was hit by a huge pay cut following the team’s relegation from the French Ligue 1.
The switch earned Nantes about a million euros.
He previously played in Turkey for Rizespor and Alanyaspor.
