Ademola Lookman has remained in the cooler at Atalanta after a transfer standoff and now the captain of his Italian club has revealed he has not spoken on the situation with the Super Eagles star.
Atalanta captain Marten De Roon said the team are focused on the players who are available for selection.
“I didn’t bother him. I don’t want to spend too much energy on this. We are focused on the squad and the players who are here,” he told Sky Sport Italia.
However, De Roon said he is open to Ademola Lookman rejoining the team.
“The door is always open if he is ready,” the midfielder offered.
Atalanta did not list Ademola Lookman for a Serie A clash against Lecce at the weekend and he has also been left out of tonight’s IEFA Champions League tie against PSG.
