Arsenal have muscled their way to the front of the queue of top clubs who want to sign Victor Osimhen from Napoli.
The London Gunners have moved ahead of Chelsea and Real Madrid, according to CalcioNapoli24
Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis has said this past week Osimhen was close to agreeing a new contract.
However, it was also reported that Osimhen’s striker Roberto Calenda was reluctant to talk after a meeting regarding the contract renewal.
It was also made clear that a new Napoli deal will just mean the player would cost clubs like Arsenal 100 Million Euros plus as soon as the summer.
Osimhen’s current deal expires in June 2025 and that was putting pressure on his price.
Transfermarkt valuation of the striker is 120 Million Euros, but Napoli want a lot more for the player.
