Arokodare salvaged a point for the home team when he hit target in the seventh minute of added time.
He headed home by the near post a corner in additional time.
The striker, who has been knocked by the fans for his lack of goals, has now netted four goals this season.
Genk are ninth on the table with eight points from five matches.
