The camp of Tolu Arokodare has claimed the striker is on his way to Belgium to complete a transfer to Anderlecht today before the transfer window closes by midnight.
The transfer window in Belgium will close tonight and reopen on September 8 till October 5.
La Capitale quoted handlers of the Latvia-based striker as saying that a transfer to Anderlecht is imminent.
Arokodare missed his team’s league match on Sunday.
However, the Belgian club deny the transfer is about to be completed.
Arokodare recently embarked on strike in a bid to force a transfer to Anderlecht, insisting that his mind is set on the Brussels club.
His club subsequently threatened to drag him to FIFA.
The 19-year-old centre-forward has scored 15 goals for third-placed Valmeira FC in the Latvian top flight.
