Tolu Arokodare may have given a hint about quitting the Belgian table toppers Genk in the coming year.
The striker fired his ninth goal of the season at the weekend as Genk maintained their leadership in the championship.
It was a befitting gift on his 24th birthday.
“It’s my moment now and I’m happy with how things are going. Next year it might be another striker and then no one will be talking about me. That’s life and football too,” Arokodare told HLN while talking about his goal against Charleroi at the weekend.
“A number (nine goals) I’m happy with, although I think I can do better. Tzolis scored four in one match. So I could probably score more often.
“I have nothing but praise for them and the other legends, but I still have some time.”
