Anderlecht have said they will not appeal against the two-match suspension handed to Ishaq Abdulrazak even after the referees’ committee ruled the red card was harsh.
‘Golden Boy’ was sent off for an elbow against a Cercle Brugge player at the weekend.
On Monday, it was announced the player will serve a three-match suspension, two of which were effective.
But according to Sven Van Londersele of Het Laatste Nieuws, the club will not appeal against the decision.
Abdulrazak will therefore miss this weekend’s league game against Seraing and a week later at STVV.
However, he will be available for selection in a UEFA Europa League qualifying match.
