Antwerp coach Mark van Bommel has said Alhassan Yusuf will be available for Sunday’s Belgian league game against Standard Liege after he was stretchered off in the team’s last game against Sint Truiden.
The Antwerp coach said Alhassan suffered extreme cramps in the thigh and so was forced out four minutes to the end of Friday’s game.
Further tests showed the injury was not serious.
Box-to-box midfielder Alhassan, who is on the Super Eagles radar, has played all 11 matches this season as Antwerp sit on top of the table with 30 points.
