Alhassan Yusuf and Chidera Ejuke will feature in the money-spinning group stage of the UEFA Champions League after Belgian champions Antwerp booked their passage tonight.
However, that was not the case with Super Eagles stars Leon Balogun and Cyriel Dessers, whose Scottish team Rangers were thumped 5-1 by PSV Eindhoven in Holland.
Antwerp won 2-1 at AEK Athens in Greece to qualify 3-1 on aggregate to the group stage of the annual competition.
Alhassan was a late sub, while Ejuke was not played in Greece.
In Holland, Dessers started for Rangers but was hauled off after an hour, while Balogun was left on the bench as the Scottish giants were humbled by PSV.
PSV thus reached the group stage of the Champions League 7-3 on aggregate after both teams played out a 2-2 draw in Scotland in the first leg.
