Experts have warned Chuba Akpom to stop complaining and rather sit up and work for the big money he receives at Ajax.
Akpom said he has been left all to himself at his hotel room in Amsterdam since his arrival from England in the summer.
However, experts were far from impressed with the lamentations of the ex-Middlesbrough striker.
“What nonsense!” fired football analyst Johan Derksen, who has anything but sympathy for the 28-year-old player. “What spoiled children to complain about that. They bought that man for way too much money. He complains a lot. He just has to work for his money.”
Former Dutch national coach Dick Advocaat agreed with Derksen.
“I don’t understand it at all. The gentleman costs 12.5 million Euros and is complaining that he has to stay in a hotel for two months. When you go abroad, you always stay in a hotel or apartment. Then you don’t complain.? You have to enjoy yourself.”
Akpom appears to have now settled in at the Dutch club after he scored thrice in the last two games to lift them out of the drop zone.
