Super Eagles defender Kevin Akpoguma has played his first Bundesliga game since January when he was injured in action at Frieburg.
A thigh muscle strain injury has kept him out of the Super Eagles after he made his debut against Algeria in October.
Akpoguma played for 88 minutes in a 0-0 draw with Bayer Leverkusen Monday night.
The 25-year-old versatile defender has now played 14 games for Hoffenheim this season.
Before his Bundesliga comeback, he played two games in the German regional league to regain match fitness.
Last season, he featured in 18 games.
