Super Eagles goalkeeper Daniel Akpeyi has extended his contract at top South African club Kaizer Chiefs till June 2022.
Akpeyi, 33, joined Chiefs January 2019 following a goalkeeping crisis which included long-term injury to first choice Khune Ituemleng.
He has made 16 appearances this season to establish him as No 1 at Kaizer Chiefs.
The former Warri Wolves shot stopper has been posting top-class displays for ‘Amakhosi’ this season.
Kaizer Chiefs are currently top of the PSL table, 10 points clear of champions and closest rivals Mamelodi Sundowns.
The Johannesburg giants look set to be champions again after a long wait.
