Joseph Akpala is expected to be available for selection by struggling KV Oostende from this weekend after he was sidelined for several weeks with a groin injury.
Experienced striker Akpala has returned from Saudi Arabia for a second spell at Oostende.
The former Super Eagles striker, 33, has scored a goal in five league appearances since his return in November as a free agent.
KVO, who have new American owners, are fighting to stay up in the Belgian top flight.
They are now second from bottom and welcome champions Genk on Saturday, while their final game of the regular season will at fellow strugglers Cercle Brugge.
They have sacked Dutch coach Dennis van Wijk for being “too harsh” and sports director Guy Ghysel has also stepped down.
