Jerome Akor was simply unlucky twice not to get his eighth goal in Ligue 1 against leaders OGC Nice as Montpellier were held to a scoreless draw at home.
Akor showed his killer instincts with one of the best chances of the first half when he took on his marker Todibo by the edge of the box, created enough space to fire at goal beyond the diving Nice goalkeeper only to be denied by the post.
In the 57th minute, he also saw his goal-bound header crash against the post.
The Montpellier Player of the Month for October played the entire game, while Terem Moffi, who has scored thrice in Ligue 1 this season, was on for Nice for 67 minutes.
Nice remain top of Ligue 1, while Montpellier are 12th.
