David Akintola saw red as he was sent off in a Turkish Super Lig clash at the weekend.

Substitute Akintola was sent off in the 84th minute of the match between his club Adana Demirspor and Sivasspor.

That was after the forward, who has just returned from an injury layoff, was introduced to the game in the 57th minute.

Despite playing a man short, Akintola’s club still snatched a late equalizer to draw 1-1 with home team Sivasspor, who paraded Olarenwaju Kayode and Leke James.

It was a comeback game for Leke James after he was sidelined by a major back injury.

He was a 75th minute sub.
